About the Department

Political Science was one of the first five subject to be taught.

The department Political Science began its journey in 1996, it is one of the oldest department In our College. The department has a long tradition harbouring learned faculties and has a practice for producing good students who has left their mark in future. The department of Political Science securing points every year in the Youth Parliament Competition. The student performers is always guided by ever helpful faculties. The Teacher-Student relations are very intimate and warm.

Most of the students we have are come from a very poor socio-economic background and there comes to the real challenge to teach them Political Science.
