Aided College affiliated to The University of Burdwan.
In the decade of 1930, during the freedom movement of the country, a new Socio-educational movement was also started along with progressive peasant movement in the district of Burdwan. Late Dr. Ram Narayan Dutta, a leading medical practitioner, Sri Ganesh Choudhury, a dedicated social worker of the village Hatgobindapur and many other personalities took this decision through a mass convention in 1982.
