Our department, the Department Of Economics started its journey long back from 1996 with Dr.Bhupendra Nath Dutta Smriti Mahavidyalaya from the time of the
establishment of this college. Many dignitaries have served this department with their glorious contribution to the enhancement of the department as well as the students.
We always share an cordial bond with the students and there is always a helping hand for the students for solving theirs issues.
This department offers general course in economics. The moto of the department is to make students aware about their economic activities and to get a knowledge
of economic system of the country. We try to train the students to make them more ambitious and a good job.
